Mefiag Filtration is a world leader in the development, manufacture and supply of corrosion-resistant filters used primarily in the plating, anodizing, and metal finishing industries.
Founded in the Netherlands in 1953, Mefiag built its first filter unit for the electroplating industry almost 70 years ago. Today, a large variety of filters are available for other applications including the automotive, construction, and sanitary industries. Mefiag joined the CECO family of brands in 2013 through the acquisition of Met-Pro and continues to provide its extensive expertise in corrosion-resistant filters to new and established customers

METAL FINISHING
The metal plating line is the part of the metal finishing process where metal is applied to a substrate. Metal plating involves many complex processes related to reducing contamination of the process bath; ensuring regular monitoring of bath chemistry; wetting agents; anodes; purified water; ventilation and exhaust systems; acid solution regeneration; and spent acid bath reuse. It can include processes such as Anodizing, Hot Dip Galvanizing and Powder Coating.
